SkinPen Microneedling
SkinPen® microneedling is a medical-grade, clinically researched treatment method that safely and in a controlled manner activates the skin’s natural renewal process. During the treatment, thousands of microscopic microchannels are created in the skin, triggering the skin’s natural healing response and stimulating the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.
As a result, the skin is strengthened from within, becoming firmer, more even, smoother, and more radiant.
How does SkinPen® work?
The effect of SkinPen® microneedling is based on the skin’s own biology:

SkinPen® treatment is not performed, for example, in the following situations:

• Tendency to keloid scarring or an active skin condition in the treatment area

Aftercare instructions for SkinPen® microneedling
SkinPen® microneedling activates the skin’s natural renewal process. Careful aftercare supports the skin’s healing and is an essential part of achieving optimal treatment results.
Normal reactions after the treatment
After the treatment, the skin may appear red and feel warm, tight, or dry. Mild swelling and pinpoint bleeding immediately after the procedure are also possible. These reactions are normal and usually subside within 1–3 days.
The first 24 hours after treatment
Keep the skin clean and well moisturized. Use only the products recommended by us.
During the treatment, Lift HG Glide Gel is applied to the skin, and after the procedure you will receive the remaining gel to take home for aftercare. The gel is recommended to be applied generously during the first 24 hours to soothe the skin and support recovery.
Always wash your hands before touching the treated area.
Avoid during the first 24 hours:
Makeup; exercise and sweating; sauna, steam rooms, and swimming; as well as alcohol and spicy foods.
RESCUE Calming Complex
RESCUE Calming Complex (10 ml) is applied after the Lift HG Glide Gel. It soothes the skin and forms a breathable protective layer during the healing process.
The product contains magnesium, zinc, and copper to support skin recovery, as well as sodium hyaluronate and ethyl macadamiate to soothe and soften the skin.
The product is included in the price of the treatment.
The first 72 hours
Cleanse the skin gently and use a soothing moisturizer. Change your pillowcase to a clean one.
When outdoors, protect the skin with sunscreen (SPF 30–50).
Avoid:
Exfoliating and active products (AHA and BHA acids, retinol, vitamin C), strong skincare products, tanning beds, and direct sun exposure.
Days 3–7
The skin may lightly flake – do not exfoliate. You can gradually return to your normal skincare routine. Makeup use is usually possible after 24–48 hours, once the skin feels calm.
Sun protection
Sunscreen is an important part of skincare year-round, even on cloudy days. After microneedling, the skin is more sensitive to the sun, making protection especially important to maintain treatment results.
• Use sunscreen daily
• Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7 days
• Reapply sunscreen regularly when outdoors
Results and follow-up treatment
The skin may look brighter and more even within just a few days. Collagen production in the skin continues for up to 4–6 weeks. The best and longest-lasting results are achieved with a series of treatments.
When to contact us
Contact us if redness or swelling does not subside as expected, if signs of infection appear, or if you experience severe pain or an unusual reaction.
